Community Radio is a resource that encourages local involvement through programs and outside broadcasts which are tailored to meet the needs of community.

Plenty Valley FM is the Community Radio Station for the north eastern fringe of Melbourne, specifically within the Cities of Whittlesea and Banyule and the Shire of Nillumbik.

Plenty Valley FM is the local Designated Emergency Broadcaster for this area and is a
vital link in the provision of vital Emergency Advice & Warnings to the local Community.
When you support Plenty Valley FM you are supporting your community.

For those who think they might have a voice for radio, we are currently reviewing our training program but you can still become a member! (And the be the first to know when our next course will be!)

We are always on the lookout for people who, beyond the studio, can bring their volunteer skills and time to us with our objective to connect with the community we serve.

Our mission is to connect with the wider community and promote the activities of local community groups. We do this by providing group members with regular on air rotation of recorded announcements and interview opportunities.
