Donate today to keep Plenty Valley FM 88.6 on-air across our region!
Plenty Valley FM is the community radio station serving the Whittlesea, Nillumbik and Banyule local government areas.
It is also the designated emergency broadcaster for the area, keeping the community informed and safe.
We provide a range of specialist music programs, as well as local sport, lifestyle, infotainment and multicultural shows.
Our station aims are unashamedly local: Local Sport, Local Communities, Local Musicians. We are an inclusive organisation which seeks to give a voice to those who may not get sufficient attention in mainstream society, as well groups and clubs who need to reach locals with their important messages.
We do not receive guaranteed government funding at any level and relies on memberships and sponsorships (what the governing legislation calls ‘radio advertising’ in the community broadcast sector) and successful competitive grant applications to keep the lights on and continue to inform and entertain locals.
Our station presenters and management are all dedicated volunteers and we currently have one part-time employee who is tasked with supporting our programs and presenters.
We know there are many not-for-profit organisations out there like us, and so we welcome, value and appreciate your kind financial support.
