Preston Symphony Orchestra wants you to know about their upcoming event!
A great afternoon of live music takes place with the first concert for 2026 by the Preston Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear three works inspired by Scotland and Ireland: from Mendelssohn’s Romantic work, Fingal’s Cave, to a reflection on place by contemporary Dublin composer Ailbhe McDonagh. The concert concludes with the Gaelic Symphony by Amy Marcy Beach, premiered in Boston in 1896.
