88.6 Plenty Valley FM is the Community Radio Station for North Eastern Melbourne, specifically within the Cities of Whittlesea and Banyule and the Shire of Nillumbik – a primary broadcast area covering an estimated residential population of over 400,000 people.
With studios based in Mill Park, we are also a Designated Emergency Broadcaster, providing a vital link during declared emergencies for delivering Emergency Advice & Warnings to support impacted areas of our local community, which includes the Plenty Gorge region.
We offer a diverse range of programming across music genres and also reaching CALD audiences with multicultural shows. You can fully sponsor one of our programs or receive a ‘run of station’ rotation across our schedule.

All our show presenters are volunteers, and our station receives no guaranteed government funding – relying on the generosity of the community through memberships, donations and sponsorships (what community radio is required to call ‘local radio advertising’) to keep the bills paid and the transmission continuing.
