The Blue Man is the newly born soul brother of the international breast cancer symbol, the Pink Lady. He will be launched in Eltham Town Square on 25 November by the Eltham Prostate Cancer Information and Support Group (EPCISG) after a fortnight spent turning Eltham blue.
One in five Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and the EPCISG has provided support and information to men in the Eltham area for nearly 20 years. In that time over 200 men have benefited from the support they offer. Between 9 am and 3 pm on Saturday members of the Group will be in attendance to provide information and answer any questions. There will also be 500 little Blue men in the gardens and lawns around the Town Square.
