Banyule Art Salon
Banyule’s biggest community art exhibition returns!
The Banyule Art Salon is an exhibition from our creative community celebrating post-pandemic community life.
The theme this year is: Outside these 4 walls.
If COVID-19 lockdowns have taught us anything, it’s a new appreciation for our outdoor spaces. Our daily walks kept us sane as we escaped our homes for brief adventures outside.
This exhibition reflects artistic exploration of nature, open space, parks, recreation, plants, wildlife and anything outside your homes.

tossing things out.
We are organising a Greensborough Repair Café every 2 months at Greensborough Christian Book Centre (hall & supper room).
Bring in your item that needs repairing and fix it on the spot with the help of a voluntary repairer.
Save it from being tossed and learn new skills!
Join us!
We are looking for local residents with different skills who can be present as repair experts during the Repair Café meetings.
We are especially looking for people who are handy with:

Foster Care Information Session
Foster carers provide an incredible community service by providing temporary care in safe and nurturing homes for children and young people not able to live safely in their own homes.
Being able to support a child to remain in their local community and to continue in their same school and social network is a really important consideration when looking to place children and young people into out of home care and for that reason, the best foster care home is one already in a child’s community.
Anglicare Victoria run monthly information sessions for members of the community who might be interested in exploring foster care to see if it could be a good fit for them and their household. Information Sessions are free to attend but registration is required. Sessions are approx. an hour in duration.
